Abhijit Gautam

Abhijit Gautam is an optimistic young boy of 18. He comes from Luing Resithang, a small village near Gangtok, the state capital. He has recently completed his schooling from JNV, Pakyong and is now pursuing BTech in computer science from Ramaiah Institute of Technology. He has a passion for learning about the cosmos and wants to do remarkable work in that field. He also enjoys playing badminton and cricket and watching sci-fi movies. His goal is to become a computational astrophysicist, where he can apply his computer science skills to analyze and model data from the universe, which would be his way of contributing to a better understanding of the universe. He also has an interest in joining the Indian Air Force as a flying officer, for which he attempted SSB but failed after coming so close. He also joined NCC in his school days and received an NCC 'B' certificate with an A grade. He tries to be optimistic even when the situation tells the other way around and tries to live life to the fullest.

Aditya Holla

Aditya Holla is a young boy from a remote village in Karnataka. He has recently passed 12th with 95.60% in CBSE board and is currently pursuing Engineering Design at IIT Madras. His dream is to be a philanthropist and help as many people as he can, especially those from rural backgrounds who have very little support from the government. He wants to eradicate the prejudices of caste, gender and religion from people's minds by educating them about these issues. He believes that proper education is the key to everything.

Akanksha Kushwaha

Akanksha is an ambitious girl of 18. She hails from Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh. She completed her schooling from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Lucknow. She secured 91.4% in her boards. She cracked JEE mains and Advanced in her first attempt and now she is pursuing B.Tech in Electrical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. She is very passionate and always wants to give her full potential in whatever she does. She wants to encourage her society in the field of Science And Technology. She herself is very interested in Space Science and is a member of the organizing team of the National Students' Space Challenge organized by her college. She is also a basketball enthusiast and represented her college many times. She believes in challenging herself to give her best.

Akash Surendra Ainapur

Altafa Ansari

Altafa Ansari is a 17-year-old girl who is simple and hardworking. She completed her 12th from JNV, Pipersand, Lucknow, UP with 89.9% marks. She is currently pursuing Bachelor of Tech at IIT BHU. She enjoys playing handball and making paintings. Her ambition is to become an independent, valuable human asset and a confident woman who can help the needy and influence others. She comes from an underprivileged background, which motivates her to do well in achieving her goals. She believes that life has its own rules and that she has satisfactory achievements.

Amrita Yadav

Amrita Yadav, an ambitious girl of 16 hails from Sitapur district of Uttar Pradesh. By securing 94.4% in class 12, she completed her schooling from VidyaGyan School run by the Shiv Nadar Foundation. She is currently pursuing History Honours from Delhi University. After completing graduation, she aims to pursue a degree in Mass Communication and follow her dream of being a successful journalist. Coming from an underprivileged background, she is well known to the problems of her society. Her true interest lies in serving the nation by being the voice of the poor and unheard people. She is very keen on learning new things and loves being part of adventurous activities. She wishes to be an independent and confident woman in the future.

Anurag Kumar

Anurag Kumar is an active and ambitious boy of 18, He hails from Mau, Uttar Pradesh. He completed his 12th with 91% from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Mau. He's currently pursuing his Bachelor's in Hindi Hons from Hindu College, University of Delhi. He's passionate about drawing and speech. He has also received many medals and certificates. After completing his graduation, he aspires to crack UPSC and become a civil servant. He's a very laborious and confident boy. He always says: - Be simple but Significant in your life. He's very much grateful to be a part of the Navodaya and Vahani family. He believes that Navodaya and Vahani family are the biggest turning point in his life. Arpita Kushwaha

Being born into a family of farmers in a small village of Prayagraj, she saw her parents live from one harvest to another. As such many decisions in her life were dictated by the effect they would have on the family’s bottom line, her future never looked too bright at first glance. She started her education in a government school keeping a burning passion to bring change to her family and society. This passion saw its awakening when she entered Vidyagyan School where she proved herself as a promising and sincere student by securing 98.8% in class 10 and 94.2% in the class 12 board exams. She realized that to bring a change and fight all the societal norms, she had to have the power to back her stand and for that, she used the only resource she had in abundance- her intellect. Currently, Arpita is pursuing BA Hons Psychology from Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi; listing herself as the first person to come out of her village to continue her education. After getting out of the societal and familial cell that she was caged into she keeps enriching herself through writing, singing, painting, and reading which all have become her hobbies now. She has transformed herself from "A Girl with Dreams to A Woman with Vision".

Ashis Sharma

Ashis Sharma is a resident of Pakyong Sikkim, a small town in the northeastern state of India. He enjoys socializing with different people and playing pickleball, a sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis. He is passionate about pickleball and believes that it has a lot of potential to grow in popularity in India. He has a clear goal in his life, which is to provide a stable and comfortable life for his family and to contribute to society by doing whatever he can within his capacity.

Ayush Kumar Poddar

Ayush is a passionate and ambitious boy who hails from Bangalore, Karnataka. He is 18. He did his schooling from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Bangalore Urban with a flourish of trumpet, securing 96% in his 12th grade. Now, he is pursuing his bachelor's in metallurgical and materials engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology. He aims to be a material scientist and is very ambitious to serve in ISRO. Ayush is an energetic and righteous personality who has big dreams and is very passionate about them. He has got good leadership skills and has been a class representative several times. He has also got his NCC 'B' certificate which further adds to his achievements. He is a sports enthusiast, who likes playing cricket, football, volleyball, and table tennis. Bibek Kumar Sahu

Bibek is an ambitious and diligent boy of 18. He hails from Ganjam, Odisha. Recently, he completed his schooling from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Ganjam with flying colors. He secured 94% in his boards and his story was covered by many local newspapers and TV channels. Currently, he is pursuing MBBS from MKCG Medical College, Berhampur. After graduation, Bibek aims to do his specialization in neuroscience and become a neurosurgeon. He belongs to an underprivileged background which makes him more focused, dedicated and determined to administer medical needs to underprivileged people. He is passionate about sports and was on the state badminton team. Moreover, he has actively taken part in debates, blogging, poetry composition, dance and painting. He firmly believes that "Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile."

Boddu Lalith Shiva Ramu

Boddu Lalith Shiva Ramu is an ambitious 18-year-old boy hailing from a small village in Gannavaram, Andhra Pradesh. With a basket full of dreams, he embarked on his educational journey at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Krishna. Growing up, he witnessed firsthand the hardships his family endured to provide him with a strong educational foundation. Lalith's academic achievements speak volumes about his dedication and perseverance. He excelled in his 10th-grade examination, securing an impressive 95.4%, followed by a remarkable 93.4% in his 12th-grade examination. Currently, he is pursuing a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering at IIT, Patna, where he continues to excel academically. In addition to his academic pursuits. He participated in Scouts in Jnv Krishna. Now He is participating in NSS in IIT Patna. Chethan is from Kaiwara village near Chintamani, Karnataka. He completed his schooling in Jyothi English Medium School. He graduated class 12 from Sree Vijaya PU College and secured 96%. He is currently pursuing B.E in Computer Science and Engineering from BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore. He has taken part in district-level debate competitions and is fond of basketball and volleyball. He aspires to become a coder and change technology.

Darshan H C, hailing from Halebeedu, is a driven individual with a passion for mathematics. Having excelled with an impressive 88% in 12th grade at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Mavinakere, Hassan. He is currently pursuing a degree in Information Science Engineering at the prestigious Siddaganga Institute of Technology, His unique approach to problem-solving sets him apart, and he harbors a deep love for teaching, sharing his mathematical insights with others. Dhiraj Kumar hails from Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. He recently graduated from Vidyagyan School with honors. He studied PCM as subjects and scored 88.2% on his boards. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Design with a major in Fashion Communication at the NIFT in New Delhi. He has excellent leadership skills and was an active member of the school cabinet, serving as House Captain. He is fond of athletics and was a part of the school's Athlete teams. She completed her 10th and 12th from JNV Lakhimpur(Assam) and JNV Bundi(Rajasthan) respectively, where she excelled in academics and extracurricular activities. She got a scholarship from Dakshana, a program that provides free coaching to underprivileged students, to do her JEE coaching and she cleared the exam with flying colors. She is now studying at IIT Guwahati, one of the prestigious institutes of India, pursuing her dreams of becoming an engineer.

Kirti Kadam, a promising leader, belongs to a small village of Bulandshahr. She cleared the entrance for Vidyagyan School in 2016. Where she completed her intermediate education on a full scholarship. She demonstrated exceptional academic prowess by achieving an impressive 96% in her intermediate examinations. Her leadership qualities were evident in her role as a school event organizer and her responsibilities as a hostel in charge. Nandini Asati is a young and aspiring medical student who is currently studying at Chhindwara Institute of Medical Science, one of the prestigious government medical colleges in the state of Madhya Pradesh. She has a strong academic background and a keen interest in medicine. She completed her 12th grade from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Khurai. Prathik Rajaram Kharat

Prathik is an 18-year-old student who comes from the city of Bengaluru in India. He successfully completed his 12th-grade studies at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Bengaluru Urban. He is now pursuing a B.Tech in computer science engineering at PES University, one of the top engineering colleges in the country. Currently, she is pursuing B.E in Computer Science from the prestigious University of Vishveshvarayya College of Engineering Bengaluru. She has been admitted to Moti Lal Nehru Medical College, Uttar Pradesh to pursue M. B. B. S. Priyanka Agarwal is an ambivert girl hailing from Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. She completed her 12th grade at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Moradabad and secured an impressive 96% in her board exams. Currently, she is pursuing her B.Tech in Mathematics and Computing at IIT Guwahati. After graduation, she aspires to work as a software engineer and advance in her career as much as possible. Pushpendra Uikey

Pushpendra Uikey is an 18-year-old from Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh. He completed his schooling at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Bundi, where he received excellent coaching through the Dakshana program. He scored an impressive 88 percent in his twelfth-grade board exams. He is currently pursuing his passion for computer science at IIT Bombay in the CSE branch. Besides academics, he is a sports enthusiast. He enjoys playing chess, kabaddi, and football for relaxation and competition. He also loves exploring new places, as it helps him appreciate diversity and expand his horizons. He is eager to seize the opportunities that lie ahead and hopes to combine his love for technology with his adventurous spirit to make the most of his time at IIT Bombay and beyond.

Radheshyam Chauhan

Radheshyam Chauhan hails from a rural area in Uttar Pradesh, India. In 2016, he achieved a significant milestone by clearing the entrance exam for the Vidyagyan Leadership Academy, where he pursued his education on a full scholarship through his intermediate years. His dedication and commitment to education were evident in his academic achievements, as he scored an impressive 93% in his matriculation exams and maintained a high standard by securing 91% in grade 12. During his intermediate studies, Radheshyam pursued a diverse range of subjects, including history, political science, economics, mathematics, and English. Currently, he is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Economics Honours at Delhi University, where he is further cultivating his passion for economics and statistics. Radheshyam aspires to leverage his education and skills to contribute to the growth and development of his country. His ambition is to become an economist or statistician, with a vision to make a meaningful impact on India's economic landscape and contribute to its progress.

Ritika Gupta

Ritika Gupta is a young girl of 18 hailing from Uttar Pradesh. She recently completed her 12th grade with flying colors, scoring an impressive 97%. It was such a proud moment for her, and it even got covered by newspapers and social media! Currently, she is pursuing an English Honors degree at St. Stephen College in Delhi. Her ultimate goal is to become an English professor because she wants to make a positive impact on society through education. Apart from academics, she has a deep passion for singing. She has achieved a diploma in Indian classical music, which has been an incredible journey for her. She has also been fortunate enough to earn several national-level certificates in various fields like music, debate, quiz, and drama. These experiences have shaped her into a well-rounded individual. She lives life positively and wants to leave a lasting imprint on society. She believes that every action, no matter how small, can make a difference. So, she is determined to make the most of every opportunity that comes her way and spread positivity wherever she goes.

Riya Avinash Gajbhiye

Riya Avinash Gajbhiye is a 20-year-old student from Maharashtra. She comes from a small village called Pimpalgaon (lute) in the Wardha district, where her mother works as an Anganwadi worker. She completed her 12th grade from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selukate Wardha, scoring 90% in the 10th and 91% in the 12th board examinations. She secured AIR 42362 in NEET 2023 and aspires to become an orthopedic surgeon. She has a noble vision of opening a hospital in her village that would provide free consultation and affordable medicines to the people. She also has a talent for free-hand sketching and enjoys listening to songs from different languages, especially English.

Sakshi Dhiman

Sakshi Dhiman is a young and ambitious girl who is 18 years old. She belongs to a village in the beautiful state of Himachal Pradesh, where she grew up with her parents and her elder sister. Sakshi was a bright student who cleared her 12th from JNV, Hamirpur, a prestigious school in the region. She also got the opportunity to receive coaching from Dakshana Foundation, Pune. She worked hard and qualified the NEET 2023, one of the toughest entrance tests in the country. She is now studying MBBS from All India Institute of Medical Science, New Delhi. She has a passion for sports and enjoys playing badminton and basketball in her spare time.

Sandesh Nepal

Sandesh is an ambitious boy of 19. He hails from Tumin, Sikkim.Recently, he completed his schooling from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Pakyong, Sikkim. He secured 89% in his Class 12th boards. Currently, he is pursuing B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He is passionate about songs as well as has an interest in chess. He also has an interest in pursuing higher studies for research in science and technology. He strongly believes in meditation and peace. He believes that one who meditates and remains peaceful will be balanced mentally and spiritually.

Sayan Mondal

Sayan Mondal is an 18-year-old who comes from a very small village in the Murshidabad district of West Bengal. He lost his father when he was only 3 years old. That was a turning point for his family. They faced a very difficult situation. Their economic instability made it challenging for him to continue his further studies. But his mother never lost hope, restabilized their family conditions, and cleared all the problems that were coming in his studies. His mother always told him that his father wanted him to become a doctor and serve the community. When he was growing up, their dream became his. But he still had to overcome many hurdles. At the end of the 10th class, his classmates were leaving school for coaching classes, but he could not afford that expensive coaching. He was very disappointed at that time and decided to continue his studies for the medical entrance exam at the school itself. But another turning point came in his life when the Dakshana Foundation selected him for NEET preparation in Pune. After 2 years of proper guidance and hard work, he succeeded in fulfilling his and his parents' dream. He scored 685 out of 720 in NEET and got the AIR -1104 and CAT rank-27. Today, when he looks back through the past years, he realizes that those harsh situations were very important and had made him so strong and he has enjoyed this journey of life throughout.

Shital Niras

Shital Niras is from Parbhani, Maharashtra. She began her schooling at Zhila Parishad School Padegaon, where she studied from 1st to 5th standard. Then, she got selected as a Navodaya scholar and joined Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Parbhani. She completed her 6th to 10th standard there and then got another opportunity to become a Dakshana scholar. As a Dakshana scholar, she received free coaching for JEE or NEET for two years at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Lucknow, one of the COE centers of Dakshana. After clearing JEE Advanced, she secured a seat in IIT Kanpur in the electrical department. Currently, she is pursuing her B.Tech degree in electrical engineering.

Shivansh Agrahari

Shivansh is a student of electronics and communication engineering at the Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ). He belongs to Nagod, a small town situated near Satna in the state of Madhya Pradesh. He has done his schooling from Satya Niketan Higher Secondary School, which is one of the reputed schools in his town. He has always been fascinated by electronics and communication technology and how it can be used to solve various problems. He aspires to become a successful engineer and contribute to the development of his country.

Sneha Rani

Sneha is a determined girl who belongs to Jharkhand but is presently living in Chandigarh due to her father's job. She has completed her Matriculation with 98.6% and intermediate with 97.6% from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Chandigarh. She was the topper of Tricity. A number of newspapers and news channels like Zee interviewed her. She is an active participant in Leadership programs. She was an NCC Cadet and NSS volunteer during her school years. She has a keen interest in programming. She has learned Python and is presently inclined to C. Sneha is pursuing her BTech in Electronics and Communication from IIT BHU, Varanasi. She is also the Associate Alumnus of IIT Gandhinagar. She is a Regional player in Volleyball. She has participated in speeches, quizzes, etc. and has also won prizes. She is a punctual and dedicated child. The sacrifice of her parents and her will to change is her biggest motivation. She wants to pay back the society through her hard work and dedication. Sneha aims to make her contribution to the nation's development in her own way.

Suhas Badagi

Suhas Badagi is an adventurous and courageous boy of 19. He is from Bengaluru, Karnataka. Recently he completed his studies from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya(BU) with a positive character and a decent 7 years of life. He has secured 94.7% in his boards which made his family proud and was 3rd highest in his school. This was a great achievement as this was achieved in spite of other troubles caused due to COVID-19. Currently, he is pursuing his Btech. After graduation, he is willing to crack the most popular and toughest exam UPSC and wants to become an IAS officer. The main agenda is to clear the society which is filled with crimes and other bad minds. And to help the needy people and serve the society. He is filled with multi-talents. He has great leadership skills which made him handle the school and he did so. He even participates actively in Athletics( throwing events) and has bagged many medals and the majority are golds. He has grabbed the minds of many by attending the TSC camp which was held in DELHI in NCC which was the greatest achievement of his life. He is really thankful to the team VAHANI for helping and promised to return this favor in terms of donating the money to the needy ones who really want it. He is even a master at drawing Portraits. He is very interested in converting this society from all myths and misconceptions to a healthy and positive society. His future activities will impact the society with above thoughts.

Urmita Jamatia

Urmita Jamatia is a native of Gomati district in Tripura, where she attended Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. She graduated with 89.8% in CBSE board, ranking third in her school. She is now pursuing a BA LLB degree in law at Banasthali Vidhyapith University, Rajasthan. Her career goal is to become a professor and to qualify for some competitive exams. She aspires to be an independent, humble and educated woman who can contribute to the social welfare. She has a special concern for the tribal communities in Tripura who face many challenges in meeting their basic needs and want to work for their betterment. She has demonstrated her leadership skills as a school captain and house captain of her school. She enjoys debating, dancing, painting, and playing sports like kabaddi and badminton. Her dream is to open a school for orphans in the future. She is grateful to all the Vahani members for supporting her education as she comes from an underprivileged background. She firmly believes that the future depends on what we do today, so we should work hard and focus on the positive.

Venkatesh Hosangadi

Venkatesh is a dedicated and ambitious boy. He hails from a village of Koppal district in Karnataka which lacks many basic facilities. He completed his schooling from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Koppal. He has secured 94 percent marks in the 12th class Board exam. After clearing the Dakshana entrance test he took NEET coaching from Dakshana and cleared the NEET exam with 624 marks. He is currently studying MBBS at KIMS Hubli. He loves reading books and playing basketball and volleyball. He is very much proud of being a Vahani scholar. He has a very strong belief that values are much more important than money. He wishes to become a talented doctor and serve society with selflessness. He believes that by practicing this noble profession, he can get the opportunity to help the needy and helpless people.

Vidhansingh Rajput

Vidhan is an ambitious guy of 20. He is from Malkapur, Buldhana, Maharashtra. He has completed his schooling from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Shegaon, with 86.2% in boards. He's currently pursuing his Bachelor of Science degree in the field of Statistics from Fergusson College Pune. Vidhan had great leadership skills and team spirit, as he was an NCC cadet in school and had been selected for the Republic Day Camp, Delhi in 2019. He is also passionate about physical activities like sports and other active activities. He strongly believes in living a meaningful life with a sense of purpose a creating a positive impact on society.

Yash Kharade

Yash Kharade is a young and talented student who hails from a small village in Buldhana district Sindkhed Raja Taluka. He has always been passionate about medicine and science. He completed his 12th from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Pune with 92% marks, which was a remarkable achievement. He then appeared for the NEET exam and scored 635 with an all-India rank of 12033, which was also very impressive. He is currently pursuing his MBBS at Grant Government Medical College and Sir JJ Hospital Mumbai, one of the prestigious institutions in the country.
